What is Map My Mole™?

Map My Mole™ is a professional skin lesion screening service used throughout the UK.

During your appointment, we capture high-quality clinical photographs together with detailed dermatoscope images of your mole or skin lesion.

These images are securely sent to a UK consultant dermatologist for assessment.

You’ll receive a detailed written report, usually within 24–48 hours, explaining whether your lesion appears benign or whether further investigation with your GP is recommended.

This service provides expert advice quickly and conveniently, helping you make informed decisions about your skin health.

 

How Does It Work?

Step 1 – Book Your Appointment

Book your Map My Mole consultation online at a time that suits you.

 

Step 2 – Your Consultation

During your appointment we will:

✔ Discuss your concerns

✔ Photograph the lesion

✔ Capture detailed dermatoscope images

✔ Upload everything securely through the Map My Mole™ system

The appointment is comfortable, non-invasive and usually takes around 20 minutes.

 

Step 3 – Dermatologist Review

Your images are assessed by a UK consultant dermatologist experienced in skin lesion diagnosis.

 

Step 4 – Receive Your Report

Most reports are returned within 24–48 hours.

Your report will explain:

• Whether the lesion appears benign
• Whether monitoring is recommended
• Whether you should see your GP for further investigation
